Noma pulls live orderbook data from every connected venue, compares prices in real time, and puts you on the one with the best fill. No stale quotes, no cached prices — just the current best ask and best bid, side by side.

How it works

  1. You open a market from the Predict page
  2. Noma checks which providers list it (via the matching engine)
  3. It compares live best ask (for buys) and best bid (for sells) across venues
  4. The trading panel opens on the venue with the better price
You pay zero trading fees on every venue. The only cost is the spread.

What “best” means

FactorWhat noma checks
PriceWhich venue gives you the most shares per dollar
DepthWhether the book can fill your full size without walking the price
SpreadTighter spread = less cost to get in and out
For most orders, the venue with the better top-of-book price wins. For larger sizes, depth matters more — a slightly worse price with real liquidity beats a great quote that can only fill a fraction of your order.

Smart routing

Noma picks the best venue for you by default. You can override it at any time.

Auto-routing

Every time you navigate to a matched market — from the Predict page, a selector pill, a chart, or a shared link — noma evaluates both venues and selects one:
  1. Where you have funds — If you only hold USDC on one chain (say Solana but not Polygon), noma routes to the venue where you can actually trade. No point landing on a venue with a zero balance.
  2. Where the price is better — If you have funds on both chains (or neither), noma picks the venue with the lower ask.
Auto-routing runs fresh every time you navigate. Switch to a different market within an event and it re-evaluates — you always land on the best venue for that market, not just the one you were on before.

Better price prompt

About to buy on the more expensive venue? Noma will catch it. If the other provider has a better price by 2 cents or more, a prompt appears before your order goes through. Two options:
  • Switch — Jump to the cheaper venue
  • Continue — Place the order where you are
This comparison runs against live orderbook data, not stored prices. And it only fires on buys — sells require holding shares or contracts on the specific provider, so switching venues isn’t an option.

Manual override

Click the Polymarket or Kalshi tab in the trading panel to lock in your choice. Once you pick a provider manually, noma respects it — auto-routing won’t override you until you navigate to a different market. Your provider choice is reflected in the URL:
ParameterWhat it does
?market=Selects the market within an event
?tab=polymarket or ?tab=dflowLocks the provider tab to a specific venue
No tab parameter? Auto-routing decides. Select a different market and the tab clears, so routing re-evaluates from scratch.

Provider access

No KYCPolymarket only
KYC verified (via Proof)Polymarket + Kalshi — best price wins
Without verification, every order goes to Polymarket. Complete KYC through Proof and noma unlocks Kalshi — comparing both orderbooks and routing to whichever has the better fill. Kalshi markets require identity verification through Proof, a privacy-preserving KYC provider. This is a one-time process that takes about 2 minutes.
KYC only gates trading, not browsing. You can view every market, every orderbook, and every price from every provider without verifying. See Providers for the full breakdown.
